Every year, hundreds of people participate in Harbor Hounds with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. Or, we could just have easily said, hundreds of dogs participate with people of all shapes, sizes and breeds.
The 11th Annual Harbor Hounds Charity Dog Walk presented by New Tacoma Cemeteries and Funeral Home benefits the Prison Pet Partnership, and the many charities supported by the Gig Harbor Midday Rotary Club. Enjoy a day of fun with neighbors, family and your furry best friend!
You can participate as an event sponsor, which can also include a space for you to set up your tent and promote your organization in designated booth areas along the walk, or simply as a dog walker (with or without a dog).
Participation is easy: simply visit the Registration or Sponsors pages linked here. The 2013 Walk takes place on Saturday, September 14th, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
============ NOTICE TO SPONSORS AND VENDORS ================
For 2013, Harbor Hounds has combined Vendor and Sponsor Registration into one process.
All Participants are now simply considered to be a Sponsor. This change was made to simplify the registration process and to allow us to better organize our efforts to gain participation in this terrific event. Vendors should now complete the Sponsor Registration. If you only want to participate with a booth on the day of the walk, you should register as a Companion Dog Sponsor.
Also, due to the construction around Donkey Creek Park, this area will not be available for us in 2013. So, space is limited – if you do want a booth in Harbor Hounds 2013, please register now while space is still available.

Come join us for a leisurely walk along the beautiful Gig Harbor waterfront. As you walk, have your entry card stamped by event staff. At the end of the walk, turn in your card for a chance to win in a drawing for great prizes! The walk takes place rain or shine. Day-of-event registration is also available! And, we have plenty of water stations along the way.
We also conduct a number of fun contests for you to show off your dog. Categories include: Best Tricks, Best Kisser (the dog), Best Tail Wagger, Best Dressed, and our fun musical Sit and Stay contest.
